Face recognition using SIFT and binary PSO descriptors

In order to reduce the number of false positives and computation time, a selection of the most representative feature descriptors is carried out by applying a variation of the binary PSO method. The results obtained show that the strategy proposed is better than the direct application of SIFT descriptors.
